Join Joyride Surron Tours to explore the less touristic side of the Algarve in a fun and exciting way. Surrons are powerful electric dirtbikes with easy controls, perfect for offroad adventures for beginners and riders. It allows us to take you to wild places, away from tourist spots, without disturbing nature, and have plenty of fun along the way.
Whether you are a first-time or a passionate rider, we invite you to join us for an adventure ride around Lagos. We have tours for beginners, intermediate, and the ultimate thrill seekers throughout the year.
There are three tour types depending on your experience:
- Rookie Tour for beginners and returning riders - 2 hours of basic training and a relaxed ride to Luz viewpoint. Price per person €95
- Hidden Hills and Golden Cliffs for intermediate - 3 hours in total, includes a track training and tour to the Cliffs or Barão de São João forest. Price per person €110
- West Coast Expedition for advanced riders - around 6 hours, including short track, training and skills check, followed by a ride from Lagos to Carrapateira cliffs with a lunch break there. Price per person €200

What is included?
- Surron Light or Ultra Bee
- Protection gear: knee, elbow, and chest protectors, helmet and googles, gloves, long-sleeved jersey
- Training on track
- Guided tour
- Water
- Personal accident insurance and basic third-party liability insurance.
What shall I bring?
- Driving licence: A or B
- Closed-toe shoes
- Preferably long pants
- It's an offroad tour, so don't dress fancy as you may get dirty/dusty :)

When is this activity happening?
Throughout the year. During the low season, three to four rides per week. In the summer we do morning (9 am) and sunset tours (5 pm) to avoid the heat, and when the days are shorter and the weather the schedule varies. Please check back for your preferred date if you want to make sure to have your preferred riding type.

Please note: next-day bookings must be made before 8:00 PM. Bookings made after 8:00 PM can only be scheduled for the day after tomorrow.
Where do we meet?
Where you meet us depends on the activity:
- Boat tours (catamaran, dolphin watching, fishing): depart from Marina de Lagos
- Kayak tours of Ponta da Piedade: meet at Praia da Batata
- Surf lessons & surf guiding: meet at the beach, usually Meia Praia or Porto de Mós
- E-bike, e-dirtbike & walking tours: start at our shop, Rua Candido dos Reis 112, Lagos Old Town
- Adventure activities further afield (coasteering, mountain biking, west coast hikes): meet at the trailhead
Once you book, we email the exact meeting point, time, gear list, and the guide's phone number for the day. If you're ever unsure, head to our shop in the Old Town and we'll point you in the right direction.
