Welcome to the South West side of the Algarve, one of the places with the most beautiful and known surfing beaches of the area; But, where to go?
Our amazing surf guides are here to help!
Enjoy a day surfing the waves that best suits your surfing level in good company. Enjoy the beaches and the surfing tips from our guides. Learn about the surf conditions of each spot!
Our groups have a capacity of 4 people maximum and they are designed for good intermediate to advance surfers, this is not a surf lesson.

What is included?
- Pick up and drop off in the area of Lagos to Sagres
- Bottle of water
- Visiting local spots
- 2 hours surf session
- 10% discount on any products at the Jah Shaka Surf Shop (Offer not available on selected technical products, rentals and other activities)
What shall I bring?
- Your own surf equipment if you have it
- Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
- Beachwear and towel
- Water and snacks or lunch
- Comfortable and warm clothing for winter sessions
What else do I have to keep in mind?
- This is not a surf lesson
- Please be aware that all the activities are not recommended if you have health issues or if you are pregnant

- Daily trips depending on season, usually in the morning

Please note: next-day bookings must be made before 8:00 PM. Bookings made after 8:00 PM can only be scheduled for the day after tomorrow.
Where do we meet?
Where you meet us depends on the activity:
- Boat tours (catamaran, dolphin watching, fishing): depart from Marina de Lagos
- Kayak tours of Ponta da Piedade: meet at Praia da Batata
- Surf lessons & surf guiding: meet at the beach, usually Meia Praia or Porto de Mós
- E-bike, e-dirtbike & walking tours: start at our shop, Rua Candido dos Reis 112, Lagos Old Town
- Adventure activities further afield (coasteering, mountain biking, west coast hikes): meet at the trailhead
Once you book, we email the exact meeting point, time, gear list, and the guide's phone number for the day. If you're ever unsure, head to our shop in the Old Town and we'll point you in the right direction.
