Lagos and the surrounding areas are also known by the summer winds called “nortadas”, common winds from June to September that makes Lagos, the right place for these sports!
Beginner lessons starts in the lagoon, were the shallow water provides excellent conditions for the first sessions.
Improve your freestyle manoeuvres or just go for an easy ride.
Qualified instructors provide all lessons and the school offers high-quality boards and sails. Perfect for each level.
From relaxed cruising to radical freestyle and wave riding, these water sports afford pleasure for everyone!

- Minimum age 14 years old and 40KG
- Ideal conditions for beginners are days with winds between 10-15 knots
- Private lessons available
- Please be aware that all the activities are not recommended if you have health issues or if you are pregnant

Where do we meet?
Where you meet us depends on the activity:
- Boat tours (catamaran, dolphin watching, fishing): depart from Marina de Lagos
- Kayak tours of Ponta da Piedade: meet at Praia da Batata
- Surf lessons & surf guiding: meet at the beach, usually Meia Praia or Porto de Mós
- E-bike, e-dirtbike & walking tours: start at our shop, Rua Candido dos Reis 112, Lagos Old Town
- Adventure activities further afield (coasteering, mountain biking, west coast hikes): meet at the trailhead
Once you book, we email the exact meeting point, time, gear list, and the guide's phone number for the day. If you're ever unsure, head to our shop in the Old Town and we'll point you in the right direction.
